MONTEPULCIANO D'ABRUZZO

A bowl of crimson fruit, this Montelpulciano from Abruzzo crushes cranberries, raspberries and red cherries along with a suitably smooth finish and nuanced acidity. Gorgeous on its own, but delicious with stewed pork chops with applesauce.
